Robert Dickinson
Intern

Robert Dickinson holds a B.A. in English from the University of Notre Dame and an M.A in English from the University of Tennessee. He is currently enrolled in the Masters of Public Administration program at the University of Tennessee. Mr. Dickinson worked in the publishing industry for several years with Penguin Putnam, and in the financial printing industry with Bowne of Nashville. He has also taught courses in Composition and English Literature at the University of Tennessee and taught conversational English in Česká Lípa, Czech Republic. Mr. Dickinson currently assists Dr. Bruce Tonn and Dr. Edward Jepson of the University of Tennessee’s Political Science department in conducting research on the effect of zoning laws on sustainable development initiatives. Outside of academic life, he enjoys running and old-time music, and is currently busy learning to play the banjo. After completing the MPA program, Mr. Dickinson plans to work in the non-profit sector or in local government.
