Tim Ezzell Director
Dr. Tim Ezzell is Director of the Community Partnership Center at the University of Tennessee. He is a graduate of Auburn University and the University of Tennessee and holds an M.A. and a Ph.D. in History as well as an M.S.P in Urban and Regional planning. Dr. Ezzell has taught at the University of Tennessee and worked for the University’s Energy, Environment, and Resources Center. There, he served as primary author of a recommendation for the state’s Advisory Council on Intergovernmental Relations concerning Tennessee’s growth management legislation. Dr. Ezzell has also worked extensively with Nine Counties. One
Vision., a nonprofit regional planning and visioning project,
where he currently serves on a historic preservation task force. His
research interests include urban history, planning history, urban
design, new urbanism, historic preservation, and the role of public
participation in the planning process. |
