Making Technology Happen

Making Technology Happen engaged youth in a community planning and evaluation process. During Phase I of the project, youth decided how to work together as a teams, mapped the problems and strengths of their community, and came to a consensus on the major issues they would like to change or explore further. Phase II engaged youth in a participatory photography and videography process where they documented the issues raised in Phase I.

They then used these materials to suggest possibilities for development in their community. Throughout the project, youth gained new skills while creating positive change in their neighborhood. The project was coordinated through a partnership between the Montgomery Village Boys & Girls Club and the CPC.
