Leslie Luebbers, Director of the University of Memphis Art Museum, and Sam Yates, Director of The University of Tennessee Ewing Gallery, are pleased to co-sponsor Divine Humility: Jesus Icons in Contemporary Mexico, an exhibit of photographs by Robert Lewis, Professor, University of Memphis. The exhibit catalog includes an essay, "The Theater of Jesus: Suffering and Redemption in Mexico" by Salvatore Scalora, Director, the University of Connecticut William Benton Museum of Art.
